Racing on the River

Taken from the south side of the Willamette River looking north at the north Boones Ferry landing. It happened that this day they were having a boat race and they had two motor boats; one of them was the 'Oregon Wolf' and the other was...the 'Vamoose'. To the left of this picture would be the railroad bridge today and to the right downstream would be the Interstate Bridge (I-5 Boones Bridge).
